How's my noble steed doing, you ask?
Quite well, thank you.
You would never guess that this little guy's heart was failing. He jumps, he barks, he walks, steals his brother's food and bosses his 70 pound brother around. No big changes there.
The only thing I have really noticed is his cough. The cough was the initial tell-tale sign that something was wrong and has since found a way to linger around, paying no mind to the medications administered to halt such things. This being so, Chico doesn't seem to be too bothered by it. He does have anxiety from time to time, but for the most part, he's cool.
He remains my little shadow and still has that spark in his eye. I am seriously hoping that this disease treats him well, as any mother would. I dread the day that I look at him and that spark is not there.
For now, we remain positive.
Quite well, thank you.
